I know little about Robbie Coltrane, but I note two things when I listen to him. One, there does appear a trace of educated twang to his speech which implies a good upbringing and better than average school perhaps a public school?(private school to those outwith the UK) Secondly, actors have learned diction which can confuse one. Diction is not something that one could accuse a Glaswegian man in the street of possessing!!!!!!!!!
It might be better to think along the lines of the voice of Billy Connolly, if you want an example of a Glasgow Accent and even that is not as broad as some.
