Actually, Barb, I think you spent most of last summer trying to stop us from ripping things out that you thought were okay, but we didn't think lived up to your standard!

    So.... we're a week out!

What are the odds that one is able to finish their kilt by the end of Kamp? I'd love to dance a fling in my newly {hopefully!} completed kilt before heading home!

Will try to bring some Michigan craft beer to share

With focus, it is absolutely possible to finish a kilt during Kamp. The first kilt I made four years ago (Isle of Skye) was all completed with the exception of the lining. I wore it anyway and finished the lining at home.

Since Okiwen is not attending this year's activities (he can be a bit distracting) I fully expect to be able to finish a kilt for my daughter and probably start one for my granddaughter as well. Although come to think of it, Ian will be there again this year ....

    The Ashes

The Australian Cricket team is in the UK for the most important event in world history since the last Ashes series 18 months ago. I can promise you, I will not be distracting anyone this year. Well, not deliberately. And not for long each day. Stumps are drawn at the end of each day's play before the middle of the day, NY time.

Since Hootie (Patti) and I will be seperated for classes the distraction level should be low. But only during the daytime.....

At least no customers will walk in and see Steve sans kilt, this year.
