A quick way for anyone, anywhere, to find the top pipers in the area is to contact one or more of the local Pipe Bands, and find out who instructs or leads them. Lower numbers are better: the guy who instructs or leads a Grade One band will probably be better than the guy who instructs or leads a Grade Four band.

Or look up the local Pipe Band Association's list of judges; these will usually be the most respected pipers in the area.

Thumbs up Contact your local Funeral Home Director

    Hello Tim,
Sorry to hear about your loss and my condolences.
I am a funeral arranger here in Monterey, Ca. You might try your local funeral home and ask the director who they've used.
They should have one or two that they call on when the need arises for a piper. We pay ours $175 per funeral, graveside or memorial
    service.
    Hope that helps. Take care.

Tim, I want to say (and I'm sure all of us will agree) I hope your cousin will be remembered far more by adding a piper to the ceremony. May the notes played, carry your loved one forward into the future with you all.
