Seller said length 24 inches, so drop of about 22. I might watch this, but think it will go for a silly price in the end. Hope the buyer is a short a** like me.

Not sure your budget, but MOD kilts can often be had at prices lower than the equivalent kilt in a custom order. There is a reason that my first kilt was an old surplus Cameron Highlanders kilt.

    Good to know, thank you!

May be a silly question, that has been answered, but, without belt loops would one utilize sporran hangers from the belt in the back....for the sporran belt? I assumed the sporran belt uses the loops in back, but without loops, would it just rely on the bulk of the posterior to remain in place ?

Another silly question, the difference between 'length' and 'drop'?

There are more than a few gents, especially in the Highlands, I`m told, who prefer their kilts with no belt loops at all. As far as I know, they wear their sporrans with straps in the normal way. Same with MOD kilts.

Length would be the overall length of the kilt. Drop is the length measured from the (top) buckle down. The bit above the buckle is the rise. Thus, 2" rise plus 22" drop = 24" length.
