    Not a guide for how to make a kilt that I would choose to wear. I wonder how she would describe what style of pleating she employs: I can't pick it. It does have some regularity to it, sure, so it's not even pleated to the nothing.

    And I wonder what the weight of the fabric is. It must be pretty light, if you can sling in a doubled-over hem.

    Well, I suppose you could knock up one of these before lunch, and make another skirt out of the other half in time for dinner.

    New to kilt making

    I also found this video difficult to watch. I am making my first kilt for my four year old grandson. I have a wonderful teacher, Marion in Perthshire http://askivalofstrathearn.co.uk/
    It is certainly a labour of love!

    While it may not be a great video, it does show some of what goes into the making of a kilt. I just embedded the YouTube code into my new kilt resources website. I may search for some others, especially a utility kilt video, to add to it.

    On another note (pun intended): While I, too, found the audio track annoying I was able to figure out how to turn the volume down. LOL
