I am not sure I can judge how high your kilt should be worn. The look seems fine for top of the knees and (I am guessing) your ribs. My kilts are a high onto my ribs but do not pinch them and my kilt hangs just onto my kneecaps. You look comfortable and if that is the case, a "thumbs up" is my opinion.
