I will always be baffled by her preference, but that's what it is.
I will stick with wearing my kilt, dress smart, and feel good about myself anyway.
Dude, seriously? How do you know that? I mean, maybe you do actually know this guy and this is a true statement, but to make that statement about his personality based on WHAT CLOTHES HE WEARS? Really?
He might be a perfectly nice guy, respectful of everyone and hold down a responsible job. He might treat the woman like a queen. He just chooses to wear clothes different from yours. How does that make him "bad", somehow?
If you feel good about yourself when you put on a nice kilt, iron your shirt and wear a tie, then that's great. By all means, wear what you like as long as you don't break any laws. But IMHO I'd be REALLY careful about passing judgement on other people based on the clothes that they wear.

There are different meanings of "smart".
Are we just hung up on language here? "Looking smart" has nowt to do with somebody's intelligence, social standing, income, race, or any other PC concerns. It just means appearance.

Edit to no longer being a subject for someone's disrespectful behavior to twist, and put the words in my mouth. Have a good day, y'all.

Looks like another member gone... seems common on here of late He was right, I'd make the same judgement, the same way they may judge me for wearing a kilt and reach wrong conclusions...

I sincerely hope that The Kilted Mohawk hasn`t left us for good, as he is a very enthusiastic recent convert to kilting, and I have very much appreciated his fresh perspective on things. Kilted Mohawk, hope you are still here!
