Just before shipping out to Viet Nam I got into helicopter training and went to Ft Wolters then Hunter Army Air Field/Camp Stewart before receiving an appointment as a Warrant Officer
I flew Huey's for 7th Airlift Platoon in Korat Thailand for 13 months followed by 5 months at Camp Red Cloud in Uijeongbu, Korea flying H 13s. 1969-70
While in Korea I received a direct commission to 1st Lt and went to Signal Corp A school at Ft Gordon. 1970

After I was separated Jan 1972 I went to college and served with a reserve unit in Houston until I graduated in May 1975.

All in all a great time.
