Its been really hard deciding which pictures to share. I took close to 600 , but hopefully this sampling will prove that the highlands and the top tourist attractions are not the only places in Scotland worth visiting .
First stop was Peebles..also got to attend my first Scocha concert here and met up with Cessna152towser I fell in love with this little town.
these were all taken on my walks along the Tweed.
So glad to see pictures from Peebles. I've never been there, but one of the headstones in my parish's churchyard is of an immigrant from Peebles. Now I feel as if I've been able to visit him in a way.
You're a truly gifted photogapher and you've generously shared a part of your marvellous trip with us.
Thank you sincerely!

Thank you Father Bill for those kind words. Really, with views this spectacular, I think it would be difficult to take a bad photo. Peebles was one of my favourite towns I visited. Actually I visited a wonderful old cemetery in Peebles,,( visited quite a few to be honest, something i kind of enjoy) ,,who knows maybe I even visited some family of your immigrant

Thank you Julia for the super pictures of a part of Scotland oft neglected by visitors, which is a great shame. You have done that part of Scotland proud.
