German kilter
Hi,
my name is HermannI´m from Germany but with long time stays in Oz and Burma.
I have no connections to scotland, I am a consentious objektor and still I love to wear kilt!
At home I mostly wear longyi or sarong, having got to know the longyi in Burma.
I am married, 3 children and 39 years old. While my wife has accepted my style of clothing at home, she objects to me wearing kilt in public, fearing reactions in our little town. But then, I have patience!

Hi Hermann,
I also got the same reaction From My wife at first. We live in a small village in Norway. If it's a small town people will get used to seeing you about. They have here anyway.
Welcom to the Forum and enjoy

Hermann,
WELCOME
I really enjoy seeing that this group is very global, it shows that kilts can be a great unifier in bonds of knowledge and friendship worldwide. You have come to the right place. Enjoy yourself as you read are ramblings and hear our tales, and just remeber to pipe in anytime.
Once again welcome!!
