    My sympathies to you and you family for your loss,

    Given the choice, personally I'd wear the Argyll Jacket (and Black tie) for the dinner and as the funeral is with Military Honours, quickly change to 1A for the Funeral.

    As for the Argyll for the next appropriate funeral , I'm intending to temporarily cover the silver buttons with black cloth to take some of the "bling" away.
