"New" Sporrans - Carrying on some of our XMTS Heritage

I've been fortunate to obtain some XMTS artisan history. Today I took delivery of two sporrans that Cavscout put up for sale here last week. One of his own design, and the other is an early (un-numbered) Thorfinn Custom Sporran by Turpin. I showed up here too late to have the opportunity to get a brand new sporran from Turpin, but from what I've seen here on the forum, and now first hand, I"m proud to own these two sporrans.

Cavscout's sporran is black, slim and sleek. I've really enjoyed wearing it this evening.


Many of you know all about these TCS monsters. It's extremely spacious and came with a couple extra top flaps (the replaceable snap-on flap idea is brilliant!). Cavscout believes it to be buffalo hide. It's soft, supple and has a nice mahogany/chocolate color. I can't wait to load it up and hit the town.


I'll wear them both proudly.

It brings a smile to my face to see that buffalo sporran in the hands of one who appreciates it, those would have been my hands but you beat me to the sale!
