I have known Matt for years and have 4 of his box pleated kilts the Ulster is one of them and was my first in the 4 yard box pleat style. I think they are wonderful for warm weather and would not hesitate to recommend both the 4 yard box pleat and Matt Newsome as a kilt maker.

Thanks a million for your reply. Sadly, it seems that Matt is very busy and isn't taking any orders anytime soon. Perhaps when his list opens up, I may ask for one. Keenly interested.

Lovely kilts, needless to say! Nice jacket too! (I'm going through some sport jackets that I have and will ask, beg, plead with my wife to help me cut one down to a more kilt-appropriate style.)
