Whats the Weather like?

Most online businesses have the software set up to create the shipping label with the tracking number and to send an order shipped e-mail at the same time. I have learned that "It's not on it's way" until the tracking number shows received by the postal system. especially in the winter.

As a postal supervisor, it seems I spend half my day explaining that fact to customers who are convinced their package should have been delivered yesterday. ;)
