Nice educational opportunity
As posted in another thread, http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/forum.php ,my son's school hosts "international night' once a year as an opportunity for the students to study a country or nation and display what they learned to the public. My son's class was assigned Scotland. I would estimate 200-300 attended.
Here I am with my 14 year old son in front of an artistic rendition of Nessy:

With my wife and 10 year old in front of a castle display fashioned from cardboard boxes:

And a student explaining to me the origins of golf. Notice the improvised putting green at my heels:

We had great fun.
My sons and I attempted to display different modes of highland kilted dress as best we could with what we have. I would welcome any constructive advice of my kit.

I think it was a good idea to put the youngest in boots, vest and short sleeves. It may let fellow classmates know that kilts are not just "dress up" attire. His casual pose makes me believe he is comfortable with the outfit.

I'd take credit if I could but I just asked him to put together a casual/sporty outfit and that's what he came up with.

You, your wife and sons all look fantastic. a very good selection of attire.
On another note, doesn't it bug you when your 14yr old is taller than you.
My daughter has now passed me but I keep telling her she hasn't quite yet (my last grasp of desperation).

I'm happy for him to be taller, I've always wished for a few more inches for myself, what bugs me is buying new shoes and pants every 6 to 8 weeks for the last year.

Great post and pictures! I really like the diversity of your kits. Thanks for sharing.
I understand about buying shoes and pants every 6 to 8 weeks, my grandson grew 7 inches this last 12 months.
