The 7-buttoned waistcoats are popping up lately. Is this a new trend? I really like the look of it.

It's hard enough to find the traditional 6-button style. I don't know why, but many modern makers have 5 widely splayed buttons, which I don't really care for.

    Chuffed

I'm really glad to see the endorsements for Gentleman's Emporium, as I've been eyeballing a number of self-backed waistcoats from there and (I admit it!) drooling a bit.

    Thanks gentlemen!

I'm wearing a double-breasted vest from gentleman's emporium. It's real comfortable. I think I will get some more from them too.

    Speaking of vests...
I don't own any, but have been searching diligently for 'the one'
I was walking around with the kid recently and I decide to visit the local Jos A Bank and try one on. Medium too big around the chest/arm openings...small is just right. This is their store brand btw, but wow, I never would have guessed a small! Is this the usual experience?
Fwiw, I measure a 38" chest, and wear medium button downs.
