The Maine Highland Games were last Saturday at the Topsham Fair Grounds. I was drumming with the Maine Public Safety Pipe & Drum Corps and didn't get many photos but we were blessed with great weather and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We were honored to host 11 friends from the Pipes & Drums of the Police Emerald Society of Great Britain, who played with us earlier in the week at one of our favorite pubs and as part of the massed bands on the field for opening and closing ceremonies. We finished the week off with a lobster bake and pool party on Sunday. I saw our own "Tartan Tess" busily taking kilt orders on Saturday but am not sure if other XMarkers were in attendance.
