Leg Tattoos to go with a Kilt

I drew my own celtic knot and then had it done on me. This was actually my first (and at the moment only) tat. It's not a great pic, but it can be seen in vivisector 3 pic in my gallery.

I wanted ink for a LONG time and wanted to get something that I wouldn't get sick of in a year or two...

My Mom's maiden name is Ball and my Father's mom's name is McKeown. I have a crest on either calf and get LOTS of compliments on them. It's VERY appropriate to show off with a kilt and it is part of your heritage, so it's not like a little butterfly or tribal tatto on your arm that you may get sick of in a couple years.

Thanks for that info Rocky. May eventually do that. Crests on the legs would certainly fit well with kilts.

Biggest barrier for me is that the Macdonald crest has a cross in it....and I'm not Christian.

I'm devoutly Pagan, because for all the years and years of being in Christian churches all my "burning bush" spiritual experiences, close connections with God, have occured in or near sweatlodge amid flurry's of Native prayers.

There is a Macdonald of the Isles crest I've seen that is more boats and birds...looking for that, don't think it has the cross.

Easy brothers, I've nothing against Christians, I just ain't one.
