Leg Tattoos to go with a Kilt

Biggest barrier for me is that the Macdonald crest has a cross in it....and I'm not Christian.

I'm devoutly Pagan, because for all the years and years of being in Christian churches all my "burning bush" spiritual experiences, close connections with God, have occured in or near sweatlodge amid flurry's of Native prayers.

There is a Macdonald of the Isles crest I've seen that is more boats and birds...looking for that, don't think it has the cross.

Easy brothers, I've nothing against Christians, I just ain't one.

I have a large Celtic falcon tattooed on my leg and i get a lot of favourble comments about it.
Another thing... I have four Pictish characters tatoed on one of my forearems that I am slowly working into a sort of sleeve?
Perhaps you could have a clan crest and buckler with some viking knotwork?

The Macdonald crest I have on my bicep is slightly different, if it helps at all.
I didn't hold with having the cross either, so I used the Macdonald Lordship crest on it's own with the War Cry Fraoch Eilean and Clan Donald above it. I'm having a buckler added around it to make it O.k. for me to wear it. (As a subject and not a Lord.)

My roommate in Baghdad had a Sgian Dubh on his lower leg...or at least the handle portion. With socks on, it almost looked like he was really wearing one, but with just shorts on at the pool, someone not familiar with a sgian dubh might wonder why there was the top half of a knife tattooed on his leg.
