Yessir there is a chain en route, and as soon as I send the money I should also have some proper hose and garters on the way as well.
Its hard to see with the lighting and the angle, but in that photo the hem of the kilt is about 1 thumb width above my kneecap. It feels good where it was sitting and comfortable to sit in, although my wife had a chuckle as I scooped the pleats straight under my butt as I was sitting down.
As I have seen in other posts, specifically the 10 ways to dress in a kilt thread, I should be able to quite easily dress this kilt up for any formal occasions and down for my hikes and kicking around town, although I am hesitant to take it hiking as it is quite a beautiful garment.
P.S. Don't judge me by my hair, it is usually combed.
