Good luck Craig, and glad that you found this forum, great bunch of guys. Let us know how things go all the way around, and even your butterflies of marriage or kilting.

Craig,
It is me again! You have not told us whether you are already an experienced kilt wearer, or whether your 'Wedding Kilt' will be your 'first timer'. You say you are based near London, but do not say where that might be.
Not that I am prying - you do not have to tell us any more than you already have - but if you'd like to meet up sometime, perhaps in London, for a chat and a drink (or two), just let me know. I live in West Sussex and pop up to London several times a year to meet other kilties, so it would be easily done.
As I hope you have already discovered, we are a friendly lot here at "X Marks the Scot", and we're all pleased to offer help, advice and comradeship when required.

Hi Craig,
I think you've made a good choice with Geoffrey Taylor Kilts.
I recommend you take Hamish up on his offer and meet with him. Apart from being the guy we all look to for advise regarding kilts, he has a very good eye for accessories and subtle colour matching.
(See if you can talk him into writing a kilt book!)
