I wanted to show off my new look...sadly it doesn't include a kilt (yet?) But i did finally find a use for my tartan cravat

It's a cravat. A lot like an ascot with the main difference being you wear a cravat on top of your shirt, where an ascot goes inside your collar. Or so i have been told.
In the victorian era shirts were considered undergarments, so if one had the chance they'd choose to cover it. Hence cravats were popular wear among those that could afford them.
Now steampunk isn't always true to victorian standards, but cravats are popular

Better a "cravat" than getting your ascot.
