Another casual Friday. AB tartan, brown hose and belt I recently purchased at Freedom kilts, hiking boots and DIY sporran. Adventures unlikely, but one can never know.

While at the Edmonton Fringe Festival last evening, came across an Calum Lykan who wears a great kilt whom I saw him on the site two days prior. He wears it every day, folding and belting. Its quite obvious it is always worn as the folds of the pleats and the fall of the tartan appear to be tailored from the memory he has imparted in the cloth. Unfortunately no photo. As a performer/storyteller he does have a website.

Sounds like a pleasant day! I'd be very interested in an exchange with Calum as I also wear a big kilt from time to time -- from a folded blanket to out-the-door, I've got the process down to 5-6 minutes. I was initially curious as to how a people could wear a garment like this daily and while I'm not convinced they laid it out on the bed, folded it, and put it on as I do everyday, I'm curious as to a more practical method. Is Calum on this site?

Here's to Friday adventures! I myself am headed out with my bride to see a friend and then a movie. I'll be wearing my MacQueen tartan PV semi-traditional kilt from USA Kilts along with calf-high moccasins from Soul Path in British Columbia. I'll attach a picture if I can later!

I wish you all a fine evening.
    Jonathan

Today was my first kilted Friday and the adventure was that it was the first time at work. I loved it and everyone seemed to appreciate the change of pace. I did get a lot of "why" questions but mostly people just thought it was great
