A few weeks ago I hosted the Clan Mackay tent at the Quechee Vermont Highland games. I knew that my 2 1/2 year old twins were going to be attending as well and decided to hack up an old pair of PJ pants that had a tartan pattern that was pretty similar to Mackay Modern to make a kilt for my son. Well his sister wanted a tartan skirt and sash.
Who says a flat cap can't work with a kilt?
They helped parade the clan tartan during the Calling of the Clans
