That's exactly where I am, planning on doing a Y-DNA test within my Clan project.

I was briefly a member this year. Found nothing of interest and most of what I did find concerning my family was full of errors. I spent most of my time correcting those errors. I was hoping to have access to public records through Ancestry but everything I wanted to view cost extra, even public record stuff. I suppose you could consider them as a source for those kinds of records but the information inserted by individuals, at least in my case, proved absolutely useless.
