    First kilt hose

I just ordered my first 2 pairs of kilt hose. I ordered from House of Cheviot getting Lewis hose in Bison and Charcoal.

I'm anxious to get them for sure! I have a Gordon Modern and didn't want to be too "matchy". I do want to wear a bit of a darker hose for evenings and also am getting Lemon color garters from them.

I am wondering if anyone can help with pictures. I am hoping that the charcoal isn't too dark to notice the cabled detail.

ID:	32194I have two pairs of hose from House of Cheviot and it is often a hard choice which of them i will wear. A wonderful Rannoch pair in mustard yellow and another pair in a beautiful Burgundy. I do have 3 other pairs of hose that I am pleased with, but those from House of Cheviot really do set the bar very high

Thanks for the pictures they do look very nice.

I wondered if the pattern of the top of the Rannoch might be more pronounced otherwise I don't know why they're priced slightly higher than the Lewis

    perhaps

perhaps it is the content or blend of the wools they are made from. When I bought them the colours were different offered in the Rannoch than the Lewis

I did ask Ashley from The House of Cheviot and she said the Rannoch were "chunkier" at the top requiring more knitting. I noticed there were more color choices in Lewis
