Wow! Thanks so much Farmer Jones! This is exactly what I wanted to know. Also, glad to see you are from Lanark. I was born and raised in Kanata! Do you have a photo on the forum I could see of your jacket and waiscoat? I was hoping to get a jacket and waistcoat combination too.
Best,
Adam
I posted images here http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...03#post1265603, but it looks like photobucket is defunct and not displaying pictures anymore, but if you read the subsequent comments you will get an idea of what others think.

That jacket and sporran are both spectacular. Yes they tick all the boxes!
Good work.
BTW I've not heard the term "jetted pockets". Is it the same as "welted pockets"?
For example when I ordered this waistcoat I specified the two upper pockets welted, the lower two flapped.

Always happy to discuss your requirements and feel free to email us with any questions.
Once again a thank you to all our past clients.
Wow, it is so great to hear directly from you on here. I have been in touch briefly via email but I wanted to get a feel for how some customers felt. I am so happy to hear that everyone is happy their experiences of your work.
I think that this is a style of jacket and waiscoat that is often overlooked in favour of the argyle or charlie jackets. I know that this line of tailoring is not what everyone goes in for but I cannot help but think that spending the extra money here is worth the satisfaction.
bratach1, would you be able to help me choose a fabric and stitching for the jacket
if I sent your images of the tartan that is being made for me?
Thanks!
Adam

We look forward to hearing from you at some point in the future.

I have bought several things from them over the years, the first being a lot of Scottish Military items I got for a song on eBay. The reply was as funny as the service was excellent. I believe it was, "Well done"
All that I have purchased from them was (is)top quality and the service is top notch.

I recently placed an order in the Edward the VIII style and "Tim" could not have provided more prompt or professional service. Details matter and he covered them well. I won't see the fruits of their labor til the new year but with the level of service provided during the ordering process, I will already be a repeat customer.

I recently purchased these from TIm, couldn't be more delighted. I plan to add some to the waistcoat of my 1945 Meyer & Mortimer doublet.
