I'm a teacher, so I frequently have occasion to wear the kilt at school-related events. And when I am not at a school event, most of the young people and families in our small Florida town, knew who I was.

So I always made sure to wear underwear, just in case. As a male teacher, any unfortunate situation that can be misinterpreted could be very injurious to my career, especially given the high profile the press has given to various cases of teachers who really have done things that are frightfully inappropriate with their students.

The cartoon boxer shorts idea is a great one. I often wear tartan underwear myself.

Aye, as a licensed professional counselor I also made sure I always wore underwear when kilted at work. Then my boss confronted me. Some client claimed to have seem a wee bit of the tartan boxer shorts and "complained." Cracked me up. Most of the young men in town were sporting a wide expanse of tartan underwear above their low low low slung waistline of their pants...and suddenly a wee bit of a glimpse is offensive....still can't imagine how anyone even got a glimpse.

Still on track for the trip to Las Vegas next year....plan to be FREE!
