I see this is made in Statesville, NC. There must be a spring around there to supply the water. They usually have the same red clay that is in Orange County that taints the water (color and taste).
I was partial to the "white lighting" that my uncle got from the hills near Monroe. That was during the 1970's and we speak of those days in hushed volume.
