The jacket in my tri color kilt pics in my gallery is a War 2 reproduction from www.gibson-barnes.com they offer many military, police, and motorcycle type short jackets...top quality and price to match.
James, just buy a disposable camera, take the pics, and when you turn it in for developing ask for a disc as well. Then pop the disc in your computer and share the pics...easy...even for a besotted old mind like mine.

i did one more time heresy and cut my british navy coat (known as duffle coat) on hips height
i ll show u a pic soon and one benefit is that the jacket shows perfectly the sporran because if its cut.

I'm with you Ham. I have a black and a brown. The brown even has a zip-out lining and a removable mouton collar for the colder days.
I think the Indy jacket would give a real rustic look.
