I hope that I can conclude that this is a friendly rivalry between the two of you.

I suspect that Maxwellian of being left-handed, a scribbler, and an “unwholesome sleeper” and you expect me to adjust?

My post was not directed specifically towards the OP. I suggest some of you should re-read Rule #5.

I am well aware of rule #5. A rule which was not violated by piperdbh but by another who posted in that thread. Piperdbh mentioned neither politics or religion. Only that a famous person who recently died got a kilt when he visited Scotland and that piperdbh played bagpipes in his honor. Last I checked pipes and kilts are okay.
As I said, it was another member who dragged piperdbh’s thread down into rule 5 territory, away from kilts. I can’t speak for piperdbh but I could see how he would be frustrated by that.

It sounds suspiciously much as if you are accusing a distinguished member of the forum (the good Father) of thinking that someone in the rabble might
verge on being well-adjusted. In light of such a thought, and in spite of my normal reserve, as a nod to my above noted commitment
to fairness and diversity I will offer my services as referee should the need arise. I suggest a cage match.

I’m glad you are familiar with rule #5. The OP did not violate this rule in my opinion. However a subsequent post was trending to territory that would, hence my post.

.......Not that my opinion matters but when I read the subsequent post I thought the same as the moderator and wondered if this thought would be nipped in the bud ...and it was.....I have had some of my posts questioned in the past and have always bowed to the moderators judgement.....Sometimes if a post is laced with just a tinge of arrogance it come across differently to different folks even if not intended
