At the 2015 Kilt Kamp in Victoria Barb T made a wonderful kilt for her daughter with Kingussie pleating.

    Hudson's Bay Tartan.

The back center 'tail' really pops.

    I wear the kilt because:
    Swish + Swagger = Swoon.

McMurdo once stated the kingussie was the most comfortable kilt style to ride a bicycle in which is what convinced me to get one two years ago, hahah. It's become my favourite to wear since.

The kilt is in the collection at Am Fasgagh (Highland Folk Museum) but is not on public display. Here's a picture from their FB page.

    Kingussie

Gotta say, that the tail pleat seems to be a great way to have the tartan "pop" out from the back. Wow, fascinating to see.

Also, the jacket is pretty cool to see as well. Unfortunately, some of the details are not easily visible in all of the tartan!
