Let's see you kilts worn for St. Patrick Day celebrations;;;;;
OK all,
Don't know if they celebrate in Scotland, but do know we (Scots, Irish, and Welsh) do celebrate in North America, so do our Canadian friends Lets see your St. Patrick Day kilts:
Here is mine, we through a small but fun party, almost all guests showed in in kilts...mainly the MacDonald Clanranald.

Come on now, show you party finery....

Victoria , city of Gardens tartan
This is my first Kilt, Victoria, city of Gardens in MM PV, worn on St Patrick's Day March 17th

Today, March 19, is Canada's Patron saints feast day .....Canada's Patron Saint is St Joseph.....Some think it is Jean de Breboeuf but I don't recognise him as such and for reasons that wisely aren't to be discussed on this forum
The kilt I wear on Canada's Patron Saint day is Canada's Maple Leaf tartan in 16oz wool

I spent the week before St. Patrick’s Day kilted — see a separate thread for some of those pics. My MacKenzie Ancient tartan was suitable for meetings with not one, but two bishops, work at the church office, and errands around town.
On the day itself, we went out to lunch, did some shopping at Farm and Fleet, and went to a local wine bar. I drew the usual shouted “what’s under your skirt” comments from a passing pickup truck as well as frank admiration (of my Cheviot kilt hose, she said) from a barfly smoking outside a downtown tavern. 😉
At home that evening, we had several longtime friends over for a great dinner of corned beef and cabbage, salmon, and new potatoes. Our cat, Dewey, made sure I kept the fire banked.

I am much less traditional than most of the folks on this forum and a lot more casual than most. All that being said this is what I chose to wear for St Patrick's day. Light green shirt, Gray Stumptown Kilt, Olive Knee Socks L.L. Bean Bison boots and an orange hoodie.

As a piper St Patrick's Day is a work day rather than a celebration/party/relax/drink day.
This also isn't an actual photo from St Patrick's Day but it shows exactly what I wore that day, except that I didn't wear a hat.
Tattersall shirt, bespoke tweed waistcoat, Isle Of Skye 16oz kilt, 1953 MOD cantle with Artificer body, Cheviot "bison" hose. Smart enough, yet very comfortable.

I played Highland pipes, uilleann pipes, Scottish smallpipes, Cornish doublepipes, and various whistles (high and low).

The Friday before at work. I was doing a kilted run later on in the day. Fell far short of the record, something over 1700 runners with 992 I think. Last year they had over 1200. Not sure why the decline. Most people used the fake kilts provided by the event, but it was for a good cause, the American Cancer Society.
American by birth, human by coincidence and earthling by mistake.

I don't (and won't) own and carry a phone, so no pictures, but I was a participant in the City of Atlanta St. Patrick's Day Parade, said parade
an ongoing event since 1858. The Stone Mountain Highland Games promotes the games by having volunteers walk in the parade and hand out beads and flyers for its event in October. As I do so, I tell folk they only have about six months to get a kilt and get to the games. Takes a while to get a kilt, so start early, plan ahead. Gets lots of smiles..."Not me in a kilt", "I'll see you there", "I've been trying to get him in a kilt", and so forth. Another member here and his wife joined in with us, but not many photos, and they have not surfaced. But they do exist, so I
am pretty sure it happened.
I was wearing County Limerick, a five yard wool from Rocky. Put with it a green khaki tee with Celtic circle cross, lovat green HoC hose with
mustard garter ties. Our other member was more formal, being in Buchanan with shirt, tie, vest, and Jacket.
