It's OK. As Blu said you have to do it on your time.
I haven't gotten to the point where it isn't a big deal. This is despite the fact that the worse thing that happened is that one guy said,"I don't want to know." Now I believe that he was referring to whether or not, if I had gone regimental.
When you are ready, go for it!

what makes me personally feel uncomfortable is the griffling to adjust theunder apron when sitting. i just want to sit and have my hands anywehere else but on my kilt. so i got my aprons adjusted to self falling aprons when spreading legs. thats just me.
so maybe it would help if u discern exactly what could be the freaky embaraasing thing with u and the kilt. for sure it has always to do with the poeple around, but maybe u can know more precisley what it could be.
also i have to say that there sometimes situatuion where i feel not as comfortable as on other days. but u ll see the more u wear it, the less you feel bad.
in our really cold and windy weather here, kilting makes think all the public that i am crazy, so that s another point for me...
all beginning is hard, and i can just say wear it and reflect about it.

Yeah, Blu said it exactly right. If only I had my time over........ A guy with even just an average personality but wearing a kilt as everyday garb is gonna score big with the ladies. Even at my age now, I can see it in their eyes. It's like a subliminal signal that you have breached their defenses, have communicated on a very basic level. They are receptive to you. Man, do you know what this means? If only I had known that back then when I had something to tilt the kilt! -Alan
