I can see where you are coming from with those straps, Colin but, for me, they look too 'fussy' - there's a bit too much going on twixt waist and knee!

Ron, you might be jonesing awhile. She didn't ship mine out until a couple of weeks after she promised she would, and never bothered to call me to tell me that she was running behind or what was going on with my order. When I called and asked about it she said it had shipped the day before. The postmark on the parcel says it was sent the day after my call.

Hi all, and Bubba particularly! We all know that leather is wonderful stuff. It brings class to any outfit. Many years ago I used to be a leatherworker (hobby) but drifted a away from it. Back then I used to make my own shoes! I coulda made a killer sporran. It sounds like you have done some leather work Bubba. I have checked the 'net and surprisingly there are not many good sources for materials/tools etc. In San Francisco where I was, there was MacPhersons leathers and they had every last thing you could need from shoe-soles to deer-hides etc etc.
Anyone know of such a place? Making an entire kilt would need a walking-foot sewing machine, but smaller projects like a sporran can be hand-stitched.
(using opposing needles). If there are any leather-hobbiests out there who would share their knowledge that would be great. -thanks- Alan

I know what you mean. I ordered a simple strap from her nearly two weeks ago that was supposedly in stock because of an error she made fitting another customer. I'll have to give her a holler, I guess.
