Nice to be back after conferences and such. Casually attired with own sporran and other brown accessories. Going to be a scorcher, so looking forward to the comments, usually something akin to : "Aren't you hot in that wool?" to which a response might be "darn right I am!"
Happy Friday

I'll second that as my understanding is that they are made from Marton Mills PV and I have a couple made from that here in the UK which are my default kilts for warmer weather, of which we are getting an unusually good amount at present.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Very casual today in PV Grey Granite, band-collar button up shirt (celtic styled), DYI brown sporran, tan hose and hiking boots. Nothing much adventurous happens around here ... but never know.

Walking around Skye

Visiting family on Skye and went for a lovely walk with them and my wife today. Very nice day with moderate temps, a nice breeze, and amazing views. Wearing my USA Kilts semi-traditional in the MacKinnon tartan.
Best,
Jonathan

Thanks! The shirt helps a lot in the warm weather as do the Bedrock sandals. I wore my five yard, 16 oz wool Connacht tartan USA KILTS yesterday and it was way too warm!

I had a couple of meetings with contractors to review their proposals on re-plastering our pool and spa. One the contractors was a Campbell. This fellow has done work with me in the past so is ‘comfortable' with me. I listened as he told me about kilts, tartans and the Campbells. Most of it was inaccurate, but sometimes you realize your job is just to listen and not correct.
Later in the morning, a hearing specialist who was conducting a hearing clinic came to the office to photocopy forms. She was wowed with the kilt. Leaving the office, she said, “I love kilts…. thanks for the copies, sweetie” (an endearment for an old guy). So much for that first blush of excitement.
Anyway, the Fred Red Ale at Park Lane tasted good after a busy day.
Love that kilt

Casual again in the Freedom PV. There's a festival nearby and on my noon walkabout I came across a large table of "Men in Kilts" enjoying the fare. We had a great chat. For a work uniform especially, the kilt they wear looks very good. One passing compliment by a fellow and his lady friend.
Happy Friday, all
