Speaking of Connery, I understood that the only reason Lazenby was a one shot deal was that Sean Connery had been coaxed back for 1973's Live and Let Die. The only reason Lazenby had gotten a shot in the first place was due to contract breakdowns with Sean Connery prior to Her Majesty's Secret Service.
