I'm not going to click 'next' enough times to read that article; why would they even think that's a good way to present information? (I know, I know, it's so they get more "ad impressions"... well I don't agree to the terms of using that site.)
I've not had any issues with Edinburgh airport in particular. The routes it serves tend to be the sort that turn planes around and go back the other way near-immediately, so many suffer from routine knock-on delays: but those delays exist at the other end, too.
It's easy to get from the airport to the city; both the Airlink 100 bus and the tram connect. (I still use the bus when I fly, as it gets 300m closer to the hotel I use.)
The BA business class lounge is nice; nothing special, but was re-done 2-3 years ago.
