Salado (Texas) Highland Games and Gathering November 9-11

We never know what November in Texas will bring. Sometime sunny and 80 degrees, sometimes rainy and 40. Once it was 60 degrees with 30 mph winds. I spent the whole weekend holding the tent down.

Amen to that. I've been tracking the forecasts for several days now, and here's the latest:

If that actually turns out to be the case, I'd be quite pleased.

I am planning to make the drive over to Salado on Saturday. I think it's been 5 years since I went.

Any plans for a group meetup? When/where?

The updated forecast I'm seeing looks pretty nice. Friday may be a bit windy, but Saturday and Sunday should be very pleasant.

Glad you're planning to make the trip, Tobus!

I think the parade is usually at noon on Saturday, so maybe we could plan a group photo at 2 p.m. or so? Or whatever is convenient for the group. We usually take the photos at the gazebo, so we can plan to gather there.
