As usual, an excellent games. At our volunteers closing celebration of completing dismantling and cleanup, Steve mentioned 107 clan tents
and 25 (or so) bands. Merchants reported good business. I always ask, as they have come a ways to support our games, and I like for them
to make money.
Would have enjoyed seeing Roadkill, kiltedsawyer, and rebelrouser at the Museum tent either day for the photo, oh well. Not the first time
I've been studiously avoided. Did talk to a couple of folk who said they have been members, but no longer recall their user names.
Had hopes of meeting @Atlanta Randy; missed @mattie and @Chainsaw02 in their
apparent absence. As noted elsewhere the scot was out of town. With the absence of @Mael Coluim , one could
sense a lowering of the level of class, but we remember. It is a long drive.
Anyone with Lamar's sporrans or Ryan's bonnets will be happy to know they were both working in the Museum tent both days, both well.

Certainly not studiously! I had guests visiting the games for the first time on both days so was quite busy between shepherding them and the MacLaren AGM. Next year if you don't see us at the photo meet, please stop by the MacLaren tent. You'll be sure to find me and/or rebelrouser there and we're always up for sharing a wee dram. Sorry I missed you.

Aha! Not studiously? So you're admitting easily and without effort. Was being silly, of course. Glad you made it; would
have been good to see you. Sounds, though, as if you had your hands full, and taking good care of first timers often brings them
back. So good on you. When I put up the AGM tents, I didn't know who would be convening under them, and I did not recall
your clan, so..... Glad they had good use made of them, and we'll hope to see you before next year. Burns Supper in January;
I know Conyers is not just around the corner, but consider yourself invited and more than welcome. Glad to know you're doing well.

I believe there was a consideration of other folks. But what do I know, I missed the whole event (with much regrets).

Exactly. You got it; it was consideration for onlookers that Sam only posted one of me.
Oh. You both meant why weren't we considerate enough to post the bands, cabers,...... Well, I'm off the hook 'cause I don't own a phone
or a camera. Sam was only there on Saturday, and had family to herd. @kiltedsawyer and @rebelrouser , is it possible you have photos
yet to post? @Roadkill ? With the MacLaren AGM, kiltedsawyer and rebelrouser might not have had a chance to wander, but maybe shots
of the meeting? The tent and group?
Tarheel, maybe you and Roadkill could team up for a kilted roadtrip for next year's games and share driving. I spent about 45 minutes on a
post Wednesday morning before the games which included a suggestion that you look at it like going fishing: hit the road at four am; you'd have been here in time for the pic with Sam and me. We could've howdied and shook and said "Well met". The computer ate my post and the draft; didn't have time to redo. Next year, you'll make it. Of course, that might lead to cruising the clan area, many shared drams, and regrets of a different ilk.

It was hard enough to get my daughter to stop shopping and come take that one picture!
But I'm the type of person who goes around enjoying the festivities rather than stopping to take pictures of them. It drives my wife crazy, but the thought of stopping what I am enjoying to take a picture of it drives me crazy, too.
