I have a coworker who is interested (not kilted, alas). I know this $20 a head for adults. How about for kids 12 and younger?
Also, I've forgotten what time the dinner begins...

IIRC, I arrive around five to install sound. People around five -thirty, so meet and greet, seated six thirty.
Translated: I drag in about five thirty complaining about traffic. The few who've arrived all want to talk to me,
so delay. Most folk are there by six thirty or so, and order four drinks because they are running behind. They
all need to stand where I need to get to do sound, so delay. Then all are wondering where the piper is, having
been involved in their drinks and not noticing he's the guy that shook their hand on their entrance. Piping of
haggis is not happening at six forty-five because I'm climbing over tables to place speakers where folk have
decided is a great place to sit. Most are seated by ten after seven, I'm doing address to haggis without mic
because I'm loud enough anyway,....... Where was I?
Meet and greet six-six thirty, folk in place around a quarter 'til, hopefully start maybe a little ahead of the hour.
If by seven, we're pretty good. Sound will be complete by eight thirty at the latest. Not bad, considering it's
two whole monitor speakers and a boom stand with a mic. Maybe this year I finish before crowd arrives
and I can have a glass of tea during meet and greet.
We'll hope to finish by around nine so as to allow cattle reiving to be completed early enough to throw off the
local constabulary; and if needed, bail posted early enough to get some sleep before Jim has to arrive at church.
And if he has to provide the sermon, he'll need time to review notes.
I'm sure Jim will jump in with official schedule, but it's fluid. And depends on how much fluid and traffic flow.

Well, it looks like we won't be able to come. I'm off Saturday but my husband can't get off work before 3pm, which would put us getting there way late. I'm extremely bummed.

Edit: I thought it was a 3 hr drive for us. I just checked and it's actually only 2 hrs 15 min. We think we can get there by 6:45. Will that be ok with everyone?

I will make sure that I get in Michael's way of setting up his extremely complicated sound system, thereby ensuring that 7pm will not be too late. Please do come!

You're a great friend! This is why I love this group. We've decided to keep with our plan to come, then.

I am adept at tripping over wires and thereby unplugging things.

Any more word on who is going to do the parts that have not yet been "assigned"? 🙂
