I do spread my kilt out flat in a room rarely used (at least at the time) to let it dry. or if space permits in my laundry room along a pole I have where I can hang it with the kilt hangers length wise, using about two or three hangers to keep it as wrinkle free as possible.

When the kilt is dry then I can hang it up in my closet.
