I purchased their forest green jacket with Braemar cuffs and corded epaulettes around 6 months ago, I was undecided between highland and forest green, they sent me a patch of each free of charge. It is worth doing this as the colours in natural light are a lot different to Internet pictures taken in artificial light. The differences changed my wife's opinion on what was the nicest colour.
The tweed is not heavy and is soft immediately, which means it doesn't need "worn in" and is warm without being overly so, I got green like you because it goes with everything and is less formal that my dark grey arrochar tweed jacket, good fit (I paid extra for full tailoring).
