thoughts on mixing tweeds; is this too much?

Being in Seattle, I'm all too familiar with the dreaded lumberjack hipster look. I avoid it at all cost. There are far too many guys walking around in a pressed flannel shirt, vest, brand new skinny denim jeans, and perfect timberland boots that have never been off concrete. Add the freshly manicured beard and waxed mustache and it's enough to bring a tear to your eye. These kids just better stay off my lawn...

Now, now, let's leave the judgy-judgy thing aside. Everyone's entitled to put whatever clothes they want on their body, whether we like it or not. I'm sure our older relatives could say a lot about jeans that AREN'T being worn by actual working people. I'm sure that some folks say such judgemental things about some of us kilted individuals as well.

I enjoy Seattle and am very familiar with the look you describe. Whatever rocks your world.
