That's why I've been spending the past several weeks reading all the posts I can on your message board to build a foundation of understanding, with the hope that those with a calculated eye will find me reasonably well kilted.

I'll proceed, hopeful that most people who see me in my kilt in won't be as prepared to scrutinize as yourself.

Then I will step out of this thread and let you wear your kilt any way you choose.

    Congratulations on your new kilt!

It sounds like you have begun the process of getting used to this stylish garment that fits differently than other things we men wear. You'll soon find things that were initially confusing become second nature. We've all been there.

Looking at your original picture, it might be easier to see what's going on with the shirt tucked in. i generally find that my kilt looks better with my shirt tucked in, but your mileage may vary.

You will find that most people will be amazed and excited to see you kilted. Here on the board, we help each other look our best so that we can step out with confidence. If you're going to wear the kilt, confidence is key!

    Happy kilting,

    Andrew

In any case I like the red Doc Martens.
