    Wind in the Hair

    Greetings all,

After reading the various threads here in regards to weather, scenery, and how we feel when kilted in such settings; I must share something that happened to me today.

The wind has been rather gusty the last few days, and my hair is a tad bit shaggy at the moment, I was to meet a friend today for an early lunch. The restaurant is in the middle of the block, and parking is not easy to find up close. I parked at one end and my friend was at the other, we were both walking towards the restaurant when the wind started whipping up really good. Andy my friend said wow, he really liked the way my hair was blowing along with the kilt swaying, said I looked like Sean Connery (I guess when he had hair). That was overheard by some ladies who said (brace yourself David), Yeah Baby!!

Here I was in the middle of the block in an urban neighborhood business district feeling that I was in a village in the Highlands.

Great Story, its great to hear more and more positive comments as time goes by. One day wearing a kilt SHOULD BE as normal to be seen in as anything another man should choose to wear.

My theory - the more we are seen the more we will become accepted as normal and not just excentrics (even if some of us are)!!

    cheers

Graham, you do as well. It's just that it'd be wind in the (facial) hair... ;-) So, don't fret about it...
