Multi-cam 5.11 Tactical kilt this Friday. It's a jungle out there. A big hit with the staff at the local Gander Outdoors & RV center. Yeah, I'm really happy to make it to the weekend!

    For NS

Casually attired in MacDonald Ranald ancient today; not only because its Friday, but also in solemnity with my home province, Nova Scotia, as they collectively commemorate the lives of 22 souls lost to the monstrous attack last weekend.

Now I have another reason to stay at home on this kilted Friday. Departed the attic in a sub-optimal way. Resulting in a sprained ankle and broken Fibula bone. I see the orthopedic surgeon on Monday. Now I know how the landing gear on the planes I used to fly felt after some of my less than optimal landings.

Kilt is poly-wool, machine sewn, with what looks to be a modified Black Watch. Smaller sett size.

Maybe I can start a new trend in kilt footwear....

    Hope all are doing well.

Spirit of Scotland kilt yesterday with dark blue hose, flat cap, and short-sleeved casual button up shirt. Skipped the flashes. Black sporran, belt, and boots. Basically all dark blue and black from head to toe.

Was asked why I was wearing a kilt when I was at the hardware store(getting some replacement bolts for a repair of some that had rusted away. Because it's way more comfortable than pants! Seemed satisfied with that answer.

At the grocery store next to the hardware store, I got a comment that, hey, shouldn't you be at the other grocery store? I live between two different grocery stores and generally stop at whichever one I'm closest to. Apparently he does the same. He said he recognized me because of the kilt, and seemed to be amused that he found me. He was all smiles.

    Obviously bored during lock down

I didn't have much to do so I started thinning out my closet... which lead to this. A nice way to spend a drizzly day.

Very nicely done; you've some fantastic outfits. In one of those first pictures, you have a nice belt. Could you share from where you purchased it?

    Thanks!

    Thankyou Jonathan,

I've been collecting for quite some time. Surprises me how much I have at this point.
The belt you asked about was purchased from HerdofSporrans. They are a UK company that sells online.
    Their products are wonderful quality.

I'm sure you'll find something you like.

    Cheers,
    Phil
