Ardbeg 10 would be a tad young for my pallet, but still a nice drop. I can’t say that I have come across Shieldaig whisky. Is it new to the scene?

It's from Ian Macleod - but otherwise I am not familiar with it.

I guess Tamdhu and Glengoyne are among their better know brands.

I looked up Shieldaig, looks to be a Total Wine thing, a lower-priced Islay single malt.

Looks like the reviews are meh.

That is funny!!

I've only seen shinty at our Pleasanton Highland Games, every year a team flies out from the Highlands to participate, very cool, they're all Gaelic speakers.

Yes the taste is fine, however I've got so used to the Speysides it's a bit of a shock going back to the Islays.
