Today, I broke the run of wearing my Malcolm tartan kilts.

For this Friday it is my XMTS tartan USA Kilts semi-trad.

Today, is my 13th Anniversary being on this forum.

    Cheers!

Thank you Mael. The red hose and my red Royal Stewart kilt were the only aspects of my kilt wearing she ever objected to, other than requesting that I kept my Anderson tartan wool kilts for special occasions as opposed to daily wear, which I did anyway, I just don't think she was keen on red!
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Sorry to hear about that. I was a little lost with your post, too - never encountered that acronym before.

I wear red hose with all 3 of my kilts (Royal Stewart, MacPherson Red and Ireland's National) and my wife love it, but thinks it looks a little Christmasy with the Ireland's National from USA Kilts.

P.S. Very sorry to hear about you wife. I'm at an age where a lot of loved ones are gone, but I still can imagine!

    Happy kilted Friday!

I haven't been wearing the kilt much lately except for hiking and trail walking, but I have some virtual business meetings today that require me to wear a tie so I figured I'd wear a kilt too. I'll see if I can get pics later.

    • White short-sleeve dress shirt with navy windowpane check
    • Navy tie with gold Square and Compasses
    • Black two-post leather belt
    • Brown day sporran
    • Armstrong ancient 5-yard kilt
    • Navy Lewis hose
    • Red flashes

An early morning walk with the dog wearing a 4 yard, box pleated kilt made for me by Isaac Walters in the hunting weathered Stewart tartan. Finding this cheap bum bag works very effectively.

Finally got someone to take a picture of me.

(This was technically not from Friday, but it's what I wore Friday. Only difference is that Friday I had a kilt pin.)
