    About cuff length, many of us civilian pipers tend to follow the traditional Highland regiment thing of wearing the sleeves coming around halfway between the wrists and knuckles. Coming to the wrist looks far too short to us.



    What we dread is this! This is what sleeves that come just to the wrists look like when you're piping.



    And the between-the-wrist-and-knuckles length has been around for 150 years at least
